"What are they?"

This is the question I am asked more than any other, understandably, as creatures have populated my image world for over twenty years. They are a narration of the human condition as they relate to each other and their surroundings. Creating them is effortless, like an involuntary reflex. They are as integral to me as the language I speak and, like words, they are abstractions. They are symbols.

"What are they?"
Representations of emotional states that portray the joy and folly of the human condition

"What are they?"
A fictitious scientific notation, or “shorthand” that depicts metaphysical events and/or invisible forces

"What are they?"
A visual map for the dissociative phenomena of the mind that brings into physical form this very common, beautiful and creative facility – a map that denotes movement and traces the relationship between the physical self and the part of the self that is ‘removed’.

"What are they?"
Visual manifestations of prayer
