This series is a visual interpretation of the two definitions of the word fugue:  1) a musical composition with two or more lines occurring simultaneously, usually one starting then the second joining in like a round.  There is repetitive quality as these “themes” are stated, then reiterated in the second voice, then in the third, etc. 

2) a certain amnesia state in which the inability to recall some or all of one's past and either the loss of one's identity or the formation of a new identity occur with sudden, unexpected, purposeful travel away from home.
